Some worthwhile practical information that I found interesting relative to the billing side of things. Enjoyable read as it is written in a manner of one sitting down and having a light-hearted and casual conversation with the reader about what goes on behind the scenes. Learned some necessary basics not taught in classes, so definitely worth the reasonable price and time in reading.
I am new to the medical billing, and trying to get my foot in the door. I have researched so many websites, book etc trying to find a book that got to the point. And this book does it. Its easy to follow and I love all the links as well as all the example forms she includes. The only drawback for me if that I like a hard copy and this is only on an electronic book....and it doesn't allow you to print it. Overall its a great ebook.
For someone new to the medical billing field this book is very helpful. It's written in easy to understand language and explains all the basics very clearly. All the information you will need to get started in this field is laid out step by step. The real life office scenarios and medical office insider tips are great. A lot of very useful information packed into just a few easy to read pages.
Explains the process in clear and plain language. Clears up a lot of questions, and very clear explanation of the billing sequence.
If you know absolutely nothing about the medical field or billing in general, this could be a good primer to familiarize yourself with terminology. It gives you some remedial diagrams that can help you better envision and understand the billing process as a whole. All good things. But I found it fall short beyond those things. Not much in the way of specifics. Although it seems to have been helpful to others.
I'm enjoying reading it cause it is so easy to read and provides some good information to learn the basics. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an introduction to MB.

Easy quick read. Clear and concise, helpful for Doctors to read.
